Low Score "Passionate Internet Debriefing" Part 2

We're closing out the year with the second half of our Game of the Generation with special guests Jimmy and Adam! Things get heated as the match-ups from Giant Bomb Community produced bracket get weird, but eventually we come to terms with the surprising, but inevitable answer. Happy Holidays and see you at MAGFest!

Low Score "Passionate Internet Debriefing" Part 1

An episode so big we had to bring in twice the number of people and then split it in half! The Giant Bomb Community created a bracket tournament to determine the Game of the Generation, so you know we had to get into that. We are joined by Good Friends of the Show Jimmy and Adam to help us reach the definitive answer. Enjoy Part 1.

Low Score 105 "Your Hosts Turkey and Cranberry"

I know we call every episode big, but this really is a BIG episode. Bobby's coming around on GTA V, played a bunch of NES games, and sunk an embarrassing number of hours into LEGO: Harry Potter. J finish DMC, is almost done with Revengenanacnens, and explains why Fables: The Wolf Among Us is pretty cool. They also both played the new BioShock Infinite DLC "Burial at Sea." BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY J purchased a PlayStation 4 and provides a solid rundown of the new system. Lastly, THE LIST is five moments people could play to understand what it in particular we like from our games.

Low Score 104 "There Were Meetings"

Following some Twitch.tv streaming of Borderlands 2, we made a podcast! We discuss GTA V and open world games, J played DMC and Metal Gear Rising: Revengence, and Bobby is still playing Persona 4. The big question this week is which games should J get with his release-day PlayStation 4. For THE LIST, we offer the "#6-#10 Favorite SNES Games." Don't worry, we explain what that means.

Low Score 103 "Really Worried About Aliens"

Grand Theft Auto: The Fifth is out, so we talk about that. Spoiler free. Or free spoilers?! We're givin' 'em away! Bobby's played a bit more Persona 4, too. We discuss some reason news, including Valve's Steam OS/Box/Controller announcement, which leads us into talk of micro-consoles and the future of casual livingroom gaming. THE LIST is a list of THE LIST ideas. You'll understand once you hear it, don't worry.

Low Score 102 Part 1 "The Non-Chrono Stuff"

This Big Episode was so big we had to split it into two parts! The first-part-cast discusses Anodyne, Shin Megami Tensei IV, the ins-and-outs of IKEA furniture, and PlayStation Vitas in colors and boxes. In the second-part-cast (posted soon after) you can listen to us discuss the depths of Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, two of our favorite games of all time.

Low Score 101 "Everybody Has Now Left the Tofu Shop"

It's back! The Low Score podcast's big episode 101 is a regular-ass episode that gets back to basics. Bobby's been playing Chrono Cross and a bunch of other games for the second time, while J is way into Shin Megami Tensei IV. Also, both fellas have played Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and Divekick. There's some short news commentary and then a THE LIST of the things we're looking forward to in the next 100 episodes. N-JOY.

We asked for your questions and you delivered. Well, a few of you delivered. And one of you... well. Thank you. But before that we talk a bit about Persona 4 Golden, XCOM, Fire Emblem: Awakening, Borderlands 2, and J's "new" PlayStation 3. Plus, a double-dose of THE LIST brings 10 games currently at the top of our queue. Enjoy?

Low Score 98 "GameFAQS Battle 243"

GameFAQS has come through again with one of our favorite Low Score features: the bracket battle! They've gone over the top, starting with TWO-HUNDRED FORTY-THREE CHARACTERS. Fortunately, they're grouped into threes and we were able to make swift time of it. Want to which videogame characters Bobby and J think are the greatest of all time? Listen to find out!

Low Score 97 "Hell Yeah You Better Vote"

Chronos Trigger and Cross, Persona 4, Link's Awakening DX, XCOM... what year is this? Oh, it's the year the Xbox One was announced! And with E3 right around the corner, we turn our attention back to our memories of this last generation of consoles for a bit of reminiscing. THE LIST, by the way, is as listy as ever: five games from this past console cycle that will likely be forgotten by future generations. You don't want to miss it.

Low Score 96 "Wholesome Frustration"

Three weeks of catch-up. We have Sleepy Dogs, Spec Ops: The Line, Chrono Trigger, Dishonored, Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, and Star Command. We briefly chat Marvel movies and television's important episode 'tell'. Also, we do the news for a bit. Then, and only then, do we address our THE LIST question which has tasked us with helping to fix/revitalize five different videogame franchises with some game design ideas.

Low Score 94 "Put a Songbird on It"

A BioShock Infinite podcast! But first, J and Jimmy encourage Bobby to continue playing Fez and we discuss our favorite game stories in THE LIST. But mostly a spoiler-filled BioShock Infinite discussion (we'll give you warning) in which Jimmy will drop some Many Worlds theories of the universe on your ass. DOPE!

Low Score 93 "Chucklin' Cherry"

Woo boy! What a big week. Bobby beat Persona 3, J played himself some StarCraft 2. They both dabbled in some other games but, most importantly, we have a very special thing that's kind of like THE LIST. That's right, it's a THE BRACKET of discontinued snack foods!

Low Score 89 "Dobs and Dials"

We went to MAGFest! And it was awesome and we talk about it. We went to Christmas! Well, I guess you can't go to Christmas but it definitely came to us. We also played some games such as Dust: An Elysian Tale, Halo 4, SMT: Devil Survivor, and Bobby has been enjoying his new Vita. THE LIST is five games that are too long. 20-bakersdozen is a go!
