THE LIST: Top 5 Games Based on Other Media IP
We want to hear your choices for this week's THE LIST segment. This week? Your top five games based on IP from other media. Movies, comics, TV shows, toys, etc. So leave a comment with your THE LIST and we'll read them on the air!
Pool of Radiance (PC), A Nightmare on Elm St. (NES), Super Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back (SNES), The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle (NES), The Goonies 2 (NES)
I admit I had to look at wikipedia's lists to remember some of these, which then made me feel bad for not playing most of the games. These are roughly in order and are based on the level of my nostalgia for these games.
1. X-Men (Arcade) 2. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (PC) 3. Dune 2000 (PC) 4. Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire (N64) 5. Disney's Aladdin (SegaG)
1. Goldeneye 007 (N64) 2. Aladdin (SNES) 3. Viva PiƱata (Xbox 360) - or was the show based off the game? 4. The Lion King (SNES) 5. Star Wars Battlefront II (PC)
Haven't played KOTOR or the new Batman game... it took me longer than it should have to come up with 5 games, haha.
Chip n' Dale: Rescue Rangers (NES) TMNT: Turtles in Time (SNES) Goldeneye 007 (N64) Knights of the Old Republic (XB/PC) Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3/360/PC)
Capcom really used to crank out tons of amazing Disney games, didn't they? Wonder if Epic Mickey will warrant a place on these lists once it comes out...
1. Marvel Vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes (Arc/DC/PS2/XB/360/PS3) 2. Area 88 (aka UN Squadron) (SNES) 3. Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse 4. Kingdom Hearts (PS2) 5. Maximum Carnage (SNES)
I'm not really satisfied with these games because many of them are just overrated. Actually that's not really true either because most of them have pretty mediocre scores on ranking sites.
5. Tiny Toons: Buster Busts Loose (SNES) 4. Aladdin (SNES/Genesis) 3. The Lion King (SNES/Genesis) 2. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (X-Box/PC) 1. GoldenEye 007 (N64)

I tried my best to remove the nostalgia goggles when making this list. Too bad there wasn't any room for Cool Spot or Chex Quest.

Goldeneye 007 (N64)
